To move around Terceira, there are several ways of transportation:
Rent-a-car:
You can find also the traditional rent-a-car companies at arrivals level in the airport, Hertz being one of them.
Taxi service to be found at the random or at main hubs:
Praia da Vitória district:
a. Airport,
b. Airbase 4 gate,
c. Praia da vitoria City Hall.
Angra do Heroísmo district:
a. Outside Angra Garden Hotel, next to the City Hall;
Public bus network, operated by EVT at acceptable rates. A praia da vitoria - angra do heroísmo v.v. tour will cost less than 5,00 euros. Buses for tourism groups are also available, please enquiries directly with the company.
